CORN BREAD DRESSING
Ingredients
- 1 cup of onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 8 cups of small corn bread cubes
- 5 boiled eggs, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1 tsp. oregano
- Saute onion and celery in butter until tender; add salt and pepper, and broth.
- Bring to boil; In a large bowl combine chopped eggs, oregano, sage, and bread cubes.
- Pour butter mixture over bread mix in bowl; stir until well mixed.
- Dressing may be baked in bird or cover and bake in a buttered 13x9x2 casserole dish at 325 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
